Ce: YAG is a scintillation crystal with high luminescence efficiency and wide light pulse, and its luminescence peak (550nm) matches well with the sensitive wavelength of the photodiode. It is suitable for use as a photodetector and charged particle photodetector. It is non hygroscopic, heat-resistant, thermodynamically stable, and can be used for extreme detection environments.
